Description:
We’re hiring an Online Course Assistant who’s passionate about smooth learning experiences and loves being the quiet engine behind a successful virtual classroom. You’ll work hand-in-hand with instructors to make sure every course module is published on time, every student question gets answered, and no one feels left behind. You don’t need to be a teacher, but you *do* need to care about learning and how people absorb information. You’ll upload course content, maintain schedules, manage email communication, and offer light tech support when someone can’t find the “submit” button. If you’ve ever built a Notion dashboard just for fun or color-coded a syllabus just to make it prettier — this is your kind of job. You’re detail-oriented but flexible, tech-savvy but not robotic, and know how to make online spaces feel welcoming. Whether it’s uploading new modules, proofreading content, or flagging broken links, you do it all with care. You’re adaptable, detail-obsessed, and always two steps ahead. If you’re someone who loves learning environments and has a knack for staying organized even when things get busy, we’d love to have you on the team.
Basic Qualifications:
- Share suggestions with instructors on how to improve clarity, pace, or engagement.
- Create and maintain FAQs, guides, or walkthroughs to reduce repetitive support questions.
- Help test new course modules before launch to catch typos, broken links, or UX issues.
- Keep course resources organized, labeled, and easy to navigate for a smooth learner experience.
- Be present in discussions to keep momentum going and encourage thoughtful participation.
Preferred:
- Familiar with calendar scheduling, reminders, and communication via email or chat.
- Comfortable navigating platforms like Teachable, Thinkific, Moodle, or Google Classroom.
- Reliable with time management and can commit to deadlines or weekly tasks.
- Open to learning about LMS (Learning Management System) tools and processes.
- Interest in education, e-learning platforms, or digital course delivery.
Benefits:
- Access to premium courses and resources — learn while you help others learn.
- Every reply you send can brighten someone’s learning experience (seriously).
- You’ll never be asked to upsell — just to help students succeed.
- Be the calm, friendly presence that keeps learners motivated and on track.
- You get to be the human touch in an increasingly automated learning world.
You’ll help collect feedback, flag what’s working, and quietly suggest fixes when things could be better. You’re proactive, self-directed, and never wait to be told twice. You believe in the power of education and want to be part of a team that’s shaping the future of online learning. Let’s make online education better — together, and with purpose. You won’t need a teaching degree, but empathy, organization, and digital fluency are must-haves. We’re looking for someone reliable, resourceful, and kind. If you’re the type who color-codes your Google Calendar and sends follow-ups with emojis — you’ll fit right in. Let’s make online learning feel a little more human, one student at a time.
