You’ll assist families in navigating grief, stress, and medical decision-making with calm guidance and empathy. You’ll assist with home visits, school meetings, and community referrals as part of a whole-family support model. You’ll track progress over time and adjust intervention plans based on evolving needs and family feedback. You’ll provide emotional support during critical life transitions such as illness, loss, relocation, or recovery.

- Respond with empathy and professionalism when handling sensitive or emotional situations.
- Document services thoroughly for reporting, auditing, or funding purposes.
Preferred:
- Understands trauma-informed care principles, cultural sensitivity, and inclusive communication practices.
- Comfortable facilitating support groups, educational sessions, or family meetings when needed.
- Familiar with coordinating with public agencies, NGOs, or case workers to ensure holistic support.
- Values empathy, accountability, and empowerment in every client interaction.
- Able to conduct client assessments, develop care plans, and connect individuals with appropriate resources and support services.
Benefits:
- Access to mental health resources — we support your mental well-being to help you be there for others.
- Competitive pay — your dedication and expertise are rewarded with a fair salary.
- A job that matters — you’ll leave work each day knowing you’ve helped someone improve their life.
- Your work makes a difference — you’re helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges.
- Supervision and support — you’re not alone in this role, and we provide guidance when you need it.
You’ll participate in street outreach routes, mobile clinics, and drop-in events to provide services where clients already are. You’ll help young people develop coping skills, build resilience, and set goals for school, home, and community life. You’ll document all sessions and outcomes clearly while protecting confidentiality and following reporting laws when necessary. You’ll follow professional codes of ethics, uphold client dignity, and practice cultural sensitivity in every interaction. You’ll be a steady source of calm during high-stress conversations, guiding families toward empathy and shared goals. You’ll receive weekly supervision, ongoing case training, and mentorship from senior clinicians or program leads. No formal experience required — just emotional resilience, adaptability, and the belief that every person deserves dignity and hope. No clinical license is required — just emotional maturity, excellent listening skills, and a passion for strengthening families.
