Description:

We’re hiring a Remote Branding Consultant to help businesses define, refine, and communicate their unique brand identity. You’ll work with clients to define their brand values, voice, and mission, helping them communicate these elements to their audience. You’ll assist with the creation of clear and consistent messaging that speaks to target audiences and fosters brand loyalty. You’ll help clients develop a strong visual identity, including logo design, color palettes, and typography, to ensure brand recognition. You’ll provide strategic advice on how to position brands in the market, increasing visibility and appeal. You’ll collaborate with clients to craft brand stories that convey their vision, mission, and value proposition in a compelling way. You’ll develop visual branding elements, including logos, color schemes, and fonts, that reflect the brand’s personality and tone. You’ll work with clients to develop their brand story, ensuring it resonates emotionally with customers and communicates the brand’s core message. You’ll assess and improve clients’ current branding strategies, identifying opportunities for improvement and areas to innovate.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help clients avoid shallow branding—go beyond just visuals and focus on what makes them unique and memorable.
• Guide clients through the process of refining or building brand guidelines—fonts, colors, logos, tone, and application rules.
• Support rebranding initiatives by outlining what to keep, what to evolve, and how to manage the transition smoothly.
• Offer ongoing consulting as needed—brand isn’t static, and you’ll help adapt it as markets or products evolve.
• Create clear documentation, moodboards, or creative briefs that serve as foundations for designers, copywriters, and marketers.

Preferred:

• Understands the psychology behind design and language in influencing perception.
• Understands market research and how to define target personas and tone of voice.
• Willing to collaborate with designers, copywriters, and marketing teams on rollout plans.
• Wants to grow into roles like Brand Strategist, Creative Director, or Fractional CMO.
• Skilled in crafting brand stories, taglines, and messaging frameworks for various audiences.
