Description:

We’re hiring a Flight Dispatcher who thrives under pressure, thinks two steps ahead, and understands that every minute matters in the air and on the ground. You’ll be the quiet mastermind behind the cockpit — planning, coordinating, and adjusting every detail of the flight path. Your role is equal parts strategist, communicator, and crisis-manager — and you balance them all with precision. You’ll work alongside pilots to ensure every departure is safe, legal, and optimized for performance. When conditions change, you’ll adapt fast — rerouting, recalculating, and communicating without hesitation. You’ll monitor en route progress, alert crews to hazards, and adjust plans in real-time when the unexpected happens. You’ll reroute aircraft during thunderstorms, coordinate with ATC, and make rapid calls when delays stack up unexpectedly. You’ll operate under strict regulations, and know them so well they become second nature in every decision you make. You’ll know every regulation by heart and apply them with accuracy and responsibility. Your calm voice over the headset can bring comfort during chaos and clarity when minutes feel like seconds.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Participate in regular safety briefings, incident reviews, and operational audits to uphold quality and compliance.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both flight crews and non-technical teams to align on updates and needs.
  • Ensure full compliance with aviation regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA, ICAO) and internal airline safety standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in dispatch regulations, systems, and procedures through continuous training and certification.
  • Ensure timely coordination of special flights such as charter, medical evacuation, or cargo missions when scheduled.

Preferred:

  • Works well as part of an operations control center (OCC) team or similar environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and professionally via radio, phone, or digital channels.
  • Capable of creating and updating flight plans based on aircraft type and operational limitations.
  • Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Experience working with dispatch systems or flight operations software like LIDO, Sabre, or Jeppesen.

Benefits:

  • You’ll build flight plans, analyze aircraft performance, manage delays, and adjust to dynamic conditions in real time.
  • You’ll help keep crews informed, passengers safe, and the airline on schedule — that’s real impact.
  • You’ll be recognized for your ability to stay cool in high-stakes moments — and that skill grows every day.
  • And yes, you’ll always have the best stories about things that almost went wrong — but didn’t, because you were there.
  • You’ll be the person behind the scenes who ensures flights run smoothly, even when the skies don’t.

You’ll use advanced dispatch software and radar tracking tools, but your mindset and training are the real engines behind success. Every decision you make is grounded in regulations, weather data, logic — and the responsibility to protect lives. From pre-flight briefings to real-time adjustments, you’ll be a critical part of each flight’s success. m. You’ll brief captains, update teams, and document every decision like it matters — because it does. You won’t be on the runway when the wheels lift off, but you’ll know: you made that moment possible. If you think clearly under pressure, love aviation deeply, and want to guide flights with your mind — this is your place in the sky. If you think fast, stay sharp, and take pride in precision, this isn’t just a job — it’s your runway. If you think in maps, listen to the weather, and find peace in control — welcome to dispatch.
