Description:

We’re seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll be responsible for executing manual tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with developers to fix issues before release. You’ll create and execute test plans, ensuring thorough coverage of all features and maintaining a high standard of quality. You’ll assist in preparing test plans and cases, making sure all features are thoroughly tested before launch. You’ll participate in system, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure our products meet user expectations. You’ll track defects using bug tracking tools, maintaining accurate records of identified issues and their resolutions. You’ll test both front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring a seamless user experience across the platform. You’ll contribute to automating testing workflows, ensuring testing is efficient and scalable as the product evolves.

Basic Qualifications:

• Help maintain bug databases and categorize issues by severity, impact, and reproduction rate.
• Keep test environments clean and up to date, working with developers if staging bugs prevent testing.
• Execute manual test cases based on requirements and user stories to identify bugs, UI issues, or performance inconsistencies.
• Run regression tests during sprints and after deployments to ensure existing functionality isn’t broken.
• Your goal isn’t just to “break stuff”—it’s to protect the user experience and build trust in every release.

Preferred:

• Comfortable testing across different devices, browsers, and operating systems.
• Familiar with manual testing processes for web or mobile applications.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts such as test cases, bugs, and QA cycles.

• Can work independently on small testing tasks or pair with other testers on larger features.
