Description:

We’re looking for a Film Director with a strong artistic voice and the ability to bring unique, emotionally grounded stories to life — someone who can see the invisible structure behind every frame and elevate it with vision and soul. You’ll be responsible for shaping the creative direction of each production, guiding it from early ideation through final delivery. From the first read to the final cut, you’ll shape the tone, rhythm, and depth of each story with precision and heart. On set, you’ll guide actors with empathy and clarity, helping them uncover the emotional truth of each moment. You’ll work closely with DPs and production designers to craft a distinct visual style that enhances the narrative without overpowering it. We’ll count on your ability to unify a diverse crew under one creative vision, while remaining open to input and adaptation. You’ll participate in location scouting, storyboard development, and visual references that shape pre-production planning. On set, you’ll lead with clarity and calm, navigating the realities of tight schedules without compromising creative intent. Post-production will include close work with editors and sound designers to ensure that pacing, tone, and structure stay aligned with your vision.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay deeply involved in every stage of production—from first draft to final cut.
• Push creative boundaries without losing sight of the story’s emotional truth.
• Attend test screenings and incorporate audience feedback when appropriate.
• Work under pressure while juggling multiple creative, technical, and interpersonal demands.
• Represent the film at festivals, press events, and in promotional interviews when needed.

Preferred:

• Comfortable leading a production crew, coordinating with cinematographers, production designers, and actors.
• Values originality, storytelling clarity, and emotional resonance in film.
• Able to adapt quickly to challenges on set and make decisions under time pressure.
• Background or strong passion in filmmaking, directing, screenwriting, or visual arts.
• Able to create a positive set culture that supports collaboration, diversity, and professionalism.
