Description:

We’re looking for an Illustrator Trainee who’s ready to turn creativity into a craft — no formal experience required, just artistic instinct, dedication, and a hunger to evolve as a visual storyteller. You’ll assist in producing illustrations for social media, editorial layouts, digital products, and storytelling-based projects. We’ll teach you how to interpret creative briefs, extract visual themes, and generate concepts that connect emotionally. You’ll work closely with designers, writers, and art directors to bring concepts to life in ways that are both creative and purposeful. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, curiosity, and attention to feedback matter. You’ll practice ideation through sketching, refining lines, and using feedback to improve clarity and composition. We’ll support you in exploring different illustration styles — minimal, textured, hand-drawn, flat, or stylized. You’ll take part in feedback sessions that focus on color harmony, storytelling strength, and message clarity. You’ll help prepare illustrations for multiple formats, ensuring proper dimensions, resolutions, and file types.

Basic Qualifications:

• Incorporate feedback from clients or teams with a positive, solution-focused mindset.
• Revise sketches and final artwork based on feedback, while maintaining creative integrity.
• Follow brand guidelines but add your personal flair to make illustrations stand out.
• Stay inspired and research visual trends, techniques, and artists across cultures and time periods.
• Adapt your style based on project needs—from playful and bold to technical or realistic.

Preferred:

• Background or passion in illustration, visual arts, graphic design, or animation.
• Thrives in artistic, feedback-friendly environments with room for exploration and precision.
• Experience creating illustrations for books, branding, social media, games, or editorial use.
• Familiar with vector and raster workflows, resolution requirements, and file exporting standards.
• Capable of illustrating characters, environments, icons, or conceptual scenes from scratch.
