Description:

We’re hiring a Warehouse Clerk Trainee to support operations in our cold storage facility — ideal for someone who’s detail-oriented, physically prepared, and ready to learn in a temperature-controlled environment. You’ll start by assisting with receiving shipments — checking delivery slips, inspecting items, and logging everything into the system. You’ll learn how to weigh, measure, and label goods in accordance with airline and freight regulations. You’ll assist in carefully packing products with protective materials and making sure each box is labeled correctly for shipping. You’ll be trained to use scanners, printers, and order management software to keep fulfillment accurate and efficient. You’ll work alongside customs staff and logistics agents, learning how to prepare export and import documentation correctly. You’ll learn how to prioritize time-sensitive or perishable items, flag any spoilage risks, and report irregularities. You’ll follow safety protocols specific to airside work, including visibility gear, restricted access zones, and time windows. You’ll assist in cleaning and sanitizing storage units and workstations to meet food-grade hygiene standards.

Basic Qualifications:

• Conduct regular inventory counts and help reconcile stock records with physical counts.
• Take pride in accuracy, efficiency, and being a reliable part of the logistics chain.
• Comply with all warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and cleanliness standards.
• Lift, carry, or move packages safely while following proper lifting techniques.
• Follow shift schedules, clock in/out properly, and be punctual and dependable.

Preferred:

• Experience working in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or distribution environment.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners, barcode systems, or warehouse management software (WMS).
• Wants to grow into roles like Inventory Coordinator, Shipping Supervisor, or Warehouse Lead.
• Follows safety procedures when handling goods, especially heavy, fragile, or hazardous items.
• Familiar with packing requirements for fragile, perishable, or international shipments.

You’ll help stage high-priority shipments, prepping paperwork and making sure everything’s ready for the morning crew. You’ll get used to dressing in layers, working in short rotations, and taking warming breaks as needed to stay safe and sharp. You’ll gain exposure to food safety rules, expiry tracking, and first-in-first-out (FIFO) systems used in cold logistics. You’ll help load and stage outbound orders for refrigerated trucks with attention to timing and temperature requirements. You’ll receive clear training, step-by-step support, and feedback as you build endurance and skill. We don’t require experience — just a strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and willingness to work overnight hours.
