We’re hiring a Manicurist Trainee to join our creative nail design studio — perfect for someone who’s artistic, detail-oriented, and ready to express beauty through nail art and extensions. You’ll begin by learning how to prepare your station to luxury standards — crisp towels, perfect lighting, and spotless tools. You’ll assist in basic manicures — soaking, trimming, filing, and buffing nails with precision and care. You’ll be trained in efficient workflows for manicures, pedicures, and express services that respect the client’s time and space. You’ll help apply breathable, chemical-free polishes with precision and a focus on nail health over harsh trends. You’ll assist with classic services like trimming, filing, buffing, and polish application, using minimal tools and maximum care. You’ll be taught how to handle premium brands, scented treatments, and delicate nail tools with care and refinement. You’ll assist with gel and polish application using steady handwork and clean, even layers free from bubbles or streaks. You’ll receive guidance on composition, balance, and theme-based nail sets for photo shoots or seasonal drops.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be flexible and adapt to different nail lengths, shapes, and client style requests.
• Help maintain inventory and notify management when supplies need restocking.
• Prepare and mix products like acrylic powder or gel builder accurately before application.
• Build long-term client relationships through excellent service and consistent results.
• Recommend nail treatments, colors, or styles based on client needs and current trends.

Preferred:

• Comfortable performing spa-level treatments including exfoliation, massage, or paraffin wax as needed.
• Pays attention to timing to ensure services are delivered efficiently without rushing quality.
• Background or passion in nail art, beauty therapy, cosmetology, or fashion.
• Experience providing classic, gel, shellac, or acrylic manicures and pedicures in a salon or freelance setting.
• Organized in managing client appointments, product inventory, and personal workstations.
