We’re hiring a UX Copywriter Trainee — no prior experience required, just strong attention to language, structure, and how words guide users through products. You’ll learn how to write microcopy: button labels, tooltips, error messages, empty states, and onboarding screens. We’ll teach you how to structure headlines, leads, and story arcs that grab attention and keep people reading. You’ll learn how to take raw ideas, voice notes, or transcripts and shape them into sharp, readable pieces. Expect to help with field notes, email interviews, transcription, and shaping human voices into readable, respectful narratives. We’ll guide you on how to separate fact from opinion, check sources, and avoid assumptions — the foundations of ethical reporting. We’ll train you to write in different voices — professional, casual, warm, witty — depending on the audience and platform. You’ll help write articles, product stories, bios, content for social media, and even brand manifestos. You’ll gain habits around writing concisely, testing alternatives, and thinking about tone in moments of success, error, or hesitation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Turn complex subjects into content that feels accessible, interesting, and human.
• Adapt tone and style depending on the audience, platform, and purpose of the piece.
• Use tools like Grammarly, Google Docs, or CMS platforms to streamline your workflow.
• Collaborate with editors, designers, and marketers to align content with visual and strategic goals.
• Keep refining your voice, skills, and instincts—the best writers never stop learning.

Preferred:

• Familiar with SEO writing practices, keyword placement, and crafting headlines that attract clicks.
• Can meet deadlines in fast-paced environments while juggling multiple assignments.
• Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
• Experienced in using content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Ghost, or Webflow.
• Background or interest in journalism, communications, content strategy, or creative writing.
