Description:

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Online English Tutor to help students develop their English language skills. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans that meet the individual needs and learning goals of each student. You’ll create customized lesson plans to focus on areas such as grammar, vocabulary, writing, and speaking skills. You’ll provide students with feedback on assignments and practice, offering strategies to help them improve their skills. You’ll assess student progress and provide regular feedback to keep them motivated and on track to achieve their learning goals. You’ll assist students in preparing for standardized English tests like TOEFL, IELTS, and Cambridge English exams. You’ll assist students in improving their pronunciation, fluency, and vocabulary through targeted exercises and practice sessions. You’ll track and monitor student performance, adjusting lesson content to ensure continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collect feedback after sessions and make improvements based on student needs and preferences.
• Help students prepare for standardized exams like IELTS, TOEFL, or business English interviews if needed.
• Incorporate current events, pop culture, or student interests into lessons to keep content relatable and fresh.
• Help students build self-study habits by recommending apps, podcasts, or reading materials in between lessons.
• Assign homework, reading tasks, or writing exercises that reinforce class topics and support independent study.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using messaging tools or email to follow up and support students outside class.
• Can adapt teaching style for kids, teens, or adults depending on age and learning style.
• Able to make classes interactive using games, visuals, or real-life examples.
• Pays attention to student confidence, motivation, and engagement during lessons.
• Experience preparing students for tests like IELTS, TOEFL, or general conversation practice.
