Description:

We’re hiring a dedicated Discord Moderator to help manage and grow our online community, ensuring a positive environment for all members. You’ll be responsible for monitoring chat activity, ensuring users are following the community guidelines and fostering healthy discussions. You’ll monitor chat activity, keeping conversations on-topic and free of negativity, spam, and harassment. You’ll assist in organizing and moderating events, such as discussions, contests, and group activities, to keep the community engaged. You’ll monitor chat activity to ensure that conversations stay on-topic and that members are following the community guidelines. You’ll collaborate with other moderators to ensure fair decision-making and consistency in rule enforcement across the server. You’ll be the first point of contact for users with questions or concerns, providing timely and helpful responses. You’ll moderate voice and text channels to ensure the server remains friendly, informative, and free of spam or disruptive behavior.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ultimately, help make the server a safe, fun, and thriving place where people want to return—not just visit.
• Participate in mod meetings, contribute to rule updates, and stay aligned with the overall tone and goals of the community.
• Warn, mute, kick, or ban users when necessary to address spam, harassment, or other rule violations—using moderation tools like Dyno, Carl-bot, or MEE6.
• Report serious incidents or repeat offenders to server admins with detailed logs and context.
• Keep an eye on voice channels, emojis, and media sharing to ensure appropriate content is being used and shared.

• Background or interest in online communities, gaming, education, or fan spaces.

You’ll manage member roles, permissions, and handle any necessary disciplinary actions according to the server guidelines. You’ll track activity, gather feedback, and provide recommendations to enhance the community and its growth. You’ll assist in managing user roles, permissions, and other administrative tasks to maintain order and structure on the server. You’ll provide regular feedback to the team on community health and suggest ways to improve engagement and user experience. You’ll provide timely responses to members’ inquiries, offering assistance and resolving issues as they arise. You’ll stay updated with Discord platform changes and implement new features to improve community interaction and moderation. This remote role offers flexibility, allowing you to work from anywhere while helping manage a vibrant online community.
