Description:

We’re inviting a future educator to join our elementary school classroom as a trainee who’s ready to learn by doing. In this role, you’ll begin each day by helping students settle in, organizing classroom materials, and preparing for the learning ahead. You’ll help facilitate fun, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and make learning feel like play. You’ll assist in managing the classroom environment — from organizing supplies to helping with transitions between subjects. You’ll assist with lesson prep, organize supplies, and help maintain classroom order with a calm, caring approach. You’ll help students stay engaged during story time, science experiments, and group discussions. You’ll help create a classroom environment where every child feels safe, respected, and excited to learn. You’ll help students work together respectfully, take turns, and navigate small conflicts with kindness. You’ll participate in creative projects, thematic units, and seasonal events that build community and school spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization daily.
• Foster a love of reading, problem-solving, and critical thinking from an early age.
• Stay up to date on curriculum standards, teaching methods, and child development research.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and team meetings.
• Celebrate student progress—big or small—with encouragement, high-fives, and creativity.
