Description:

We’re looking for a Hotel Front Desk Clerk who knows that every check-in sets the tone for a guest’s entire stay. You’ll welcome travelers from around the world and make their stay feel personal from the very first “Hello. You’ll manage reservations, room assignments, and check-ins with a balance of efficiency and genuine hospitality. When someone arrives exhausted from a flight delay, you’ll be the calm, friendly presence they need. You’ll become an expert in our booking system, knowing how to juggle overbookings, upgrades, and special requests like a pro. You’ll help guests feel less like they’re staying at a hotel and more like they’re being welcomed home. m. You’ll help travelers feel at home, whether they’re staying one night or one week. You’ll use our booking system to manage reservations, update guest profiles, and keep everything accurate. You’ll listen more than you speak, notice what others miss, and offer help before guests even ask. You’ll use our property management system like a pro, but your real power is in making people feel cared for.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure rooms are clean, available, and guest needs are met.
  • Assist in generating and reviewing shift reports, night audits, and occupancy stats when needed.
  • Follow dress code, grooming, and communication standards to reflect the hotel’s brand and values.
  • Maintain organized logs of wake-up calls, late checkouts, lost and found items, and incident reports as needed.
  • Coordinate room upgrades or loyalty perks for eligible guests and ensure preferences are noted for future stays.

Preferred:

  • Understands how to resolve guest concerns or escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Familiar with local attractions, services, and amenities to assist with guest questions.
  • Can collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management for smooth operations.

  • Pays attention to guest needs and aims to create a welcoming first impression.
