Description:

We’re hiring an Electrician to support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings — perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in keeping public spaces powered and safe. You’ll install outlets, light fixtures, panels, and switches during home builds, renovations, and service visits. You’ll read and interpret residential blueprints, floor plans, and load calculations to plan efficient and code-compliant layouts. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing issues like flickering lights, outlet failures, and overloaded circuits in high-use environments. You’ll upgrade old wiring in kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces to support modern appliances and devices. You’ll communicate clearly with clients under stress, explaining the issue, risks, and repair plan in a calm, professional tone. You’ll interact with homeowners directly, explaining your work and offering helpful advice on usage, safety, or energy savings. You’ll work both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in tight spaces, crawl areas, attics, or at height. You’ll perform panel upgrades, install subpanels, and configure circuits for HVAC, EV chargers, or home offices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with customers, explaining complex issues in easy-to-understand language.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, or facility managers on project timelines and requirements.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and code changes through ongoing training.
• Maintain licensing and certifications as required by local and national regulations.

Preferred:

• Can provide accurate project estimates for labor, parts, and timeline based on job scope.
• Values safety, precision, and integrity in all aspects of electrical work.
• Skilled in working with conduit, circuit breakers, outlets, lighting systems, and control panels.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics for accurate installation and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other electrical testing equipment.

You’ll be expected to work independently or with an apprentice, depending on the scale of the job. You’ll work independently or in teams, coordinating with contractors, inspectors, and other trades on site. You’ll receive support from senior techs and industrial supervisors who will mentor your work on advanced systems. You’ll rotate between installations, repairs, and service calls based on schedule demands and weather conditions.
