Description:

We’re seeking an Architect Trainee who dreams of designing spaces that are not only beautiful, but purposeful — no prior experience required, just a strong design sense and eagerness to learn. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to think in both 2D and 3D, and how to turn spatial concepts into practical, buildable designs. You’ll help create renderings, diagrams, and design documents that communicate ideas to clients and contractors. Expect to work with design tools like Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Photoshop — we’ll support your learning every step of the way. You’ll learn how to analyze site constraints, zoning codes, and client needs to inform better design decisions. We’ll show you how to balance client expectations with regulatory standards and design integrity. You’ll explore how light, form, and circulation impact human experience within the built environment. You’ll participate in team critiques, where your ideas will be challenged and shaped in a collaborative spirit.

Basic Qualifications:

• Oversee bidding and contractor selection if you're involved in that phase.
• Track hours, billing, and project milestones if managing multiple jobs.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate progress and ensure design specifications are being followed.
• Adapt plans when unexpected challenges arise—soil issues, zoning limits, or client changes.
• Manage timelines, documentation, and client communications to keep projects on track.

Preferred:

• Familiar with building systems integration (MEP, structural) and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Keeps up with architectural trends, technologies, and sustainability standards like LEED or BREEAM.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Architect, Design Director, or Urban Strategist.
• Thrives in design-focused, collaborative studios where creativity meets practicality.
• Comfortable working with both residential and commercial typologies depending on project scope.
