We’re hiring an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s passionate about people, curious about what makes a great team, and ready to learn the mechanics of smart hiring — no experience needed, just motivation and a people-first mindset. You’ll support the recruitment team in day-to-day tasks like posting jobs, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. We’ll teach you how to screen resumes, identify red flags, and spot transferable skills that others might miss. You’ll support recruiters by pre-screening applicants and learning how to evaluate both technical skills and soft traits. Expect to participate in phone screenings, take notes during interviews, and observe how hiring decisions are made. You’ll get familiar with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR tools, and databases used to manage recruiting workflows. We’ll guide you in creating outreach strategies that go beyond job boards and reach the right talent. You’ll also assist with employer branding efforts — like writing LinkedIn posts or preparing culture decks. You’ll also support diversity and inclusion efforts, learning how to reduce bias and expand reach.
Basic Qualifications:
- Partner with HR teammates on employer branding, career fairs, or outreach campaigns.
- Keep an eye on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand team needs and refine role requirements.
- Balance multiple open roles while staying organized and communicative.
- Support internal mobility by helping current employees explore new roles.
Preferred:
- Able to promote inclusive hiring practices and reach diverse candidate pools.
- Organized with hiring pipelines, interview notes, and offer documentation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Able to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage candidate expectations professionally.
- Wants to grow into roles like Talent Partner, People Operations Manager, or HR Business Partner.
