Description:

We’re looking for a Remote HR Coordinator to help drive our HR processes, from recruitment to employee support, in a remote-first environment. You’ll manage job postings, interview scheduling, and new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience for every new team member. You’ll be the go-to person for all employee inquiries, offering support in everything from time off requests to career development questions. You’ll maintain employee records, track attendance, and assist with payroll administration. You’ll collaborate with management to implement employee engagement strategies, creating a positive and productive work culture. You’ll assist in the development of HR policies, making sure they reflect our values and industry best practices. You’ll manage employee benefits and handle inquiries related to health insurance, leave policies, and other benefits. You’ll coordinate internal communications and act as the point of contact for all HR-related questions. You’ll track and report on HR metrics to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Coordinate background checks, reference checks, and employment verifications as part of the hiring pipeline.
  • Assist in maintaining internal HR documentation, such as policies, handbooks, org charts, and FAQ pages.
  • Support remote onboarding workflows by preparing checklists, provisioning accounts, and ensuring new hires feel welcome from day one.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive remote work culture—because HR isn't just admin, it's how people experience the company.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and feedback collection with hiring managers and recruiters.

Preferred:

  • Able to draft offer letters, collect onboarding documents, and track completion status.
  • Can work independently and prioritize tasks without micromanagement.
  • Understands confidentiality and the importance of handling sensitive information securely.
  • Can coordinate with finance or operations teams on payroll, benefits, or contractor onboarding.
  • Willing to follow checklists and help improve workflows over time.

You’ll be proactive in finding ways to streamline HR processes, using technology to improve efficiency. You’ll work closely with the HR team to develop and implement employee wellness programs that promote work-life balance. You’ll be expected to maintain confidentiality, show empathy, and approach every challenge with a problem-solving mindset.
