Description:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Tester who knows that great user experience starts with careful testing — someone who’s detail-obsessed, methodical, and committed to making sure nothing broken slips through the cracks. You’ll test mobile apps across iOS and Android devices, verifying that every screen, gesture, and interaction works as intended. You’ll execute structured test cases, but also think freely to test the weird, the unexpected, and the forgotten corners of the product. We expect you to test with empathy — not just “does it work,” but “does it make sense, feel smooth, and behave consistently? You’ll work alongside developers and designers to understand product logic and identify edge cases they might miss. We’ll rely on you to verify bug fixes, ensure regressions haven’t occurred, and confirm that features meet expectations. You’ll verify fixes in new builds, test in staging environments, and run regression checks before releases go live. We’ll count on you to see what others overlook, raise concerns early, and always advocate for the user’s perspective. You’ll join sprint meetings, report on test progress, and help define what “done” really means in QA terms. You’ll test across platforms and devices, depending on the product — desktop, mobile, browsers, or hardware if needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Stay curious—poke around the app even after the checklist says you’re done.
  • Verify fixes after bugs are resolved and run regression tests to catch new breakages.
  • Log bugs with clear steps to reproduce, screenshots, and notes for developers to act on.
  • Balance precision with speed when release days require fast smoke tests.
  • Perform exploratory testing to find unexpected behaviors or edge-case bugs.

Preferred:

  • Willing to document steps, gather screenshots/videos, and collaborate with developers to isolate issues.
  • Able to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports using tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
  • Knows how to perform smoke tests, sanity tests, regression tests, and UAT where needed.
  • Background or interest in software quality, product testing, or digital product development.
  • Able to test features independently while also contributing to team-wide QA coverage.

Benefits:

  • Flexible hours — bugs don’t run on office hours, and neither do you.
  • And yes — you’ll get to say “I caught that” when no one else even noticed.
  • Opportunities to learn automation if you're curious — or stay manual if that’s your jam.
  • Paid courses, certifications, or conference tickets — all on us.
  • We celebrate bug-free builds like birthdays (with cake, yes).

You’ll take part in sprint reviews, give QA sign-off, and help ensure the app is truly “done” — not just working on your device. You’ll also be encouraged to contribute ideas that improve usability and reduce confusion — not just break/fix. You’ll bring logic, persistence, and empathy to everything you test — asking “what if” until nothing surprises you. You don’t need to be technical, but you do need to be organized, curious, and excellent at spotting small issues before they become big ones. This role is ideal for someone who’s methodical, calm under pressure, and naturally curious about how things *should* work. By the end of your first months, you’ll be a key part of our release rhythm, helping us ship confidently and responsibly. If you believe great products are built through small, careful decisions — your work will matter here every day. By the end of your first release cycle, you’ll be trusted, respected, and irreplaceable on the QA team. If you believe quality is in the details — and you know where to look — we’re ready for you to test with us.
