Description:

We’re hiring a Barista Trainee to join our in-office café team, where consistency, professionalism, and warm service are key to starting the workday right for hundreds of guests. You’ll help set up the coffee truck at different locations — from early morning office spots to weekend markets and events. You’ll assist in prepping gear, checking the espresso machine, and stocking milk, beans, and cups before service starts. You’ll be trained to take customer orders with accuracy, a smile, and a genuine interest in what they enjoy. You’ll learn how to balance speed with care, delivering drinks quickly without cutting corners on quality. You’ll support front-of-house service by taking orders, explaining the menu, and making thoughtful recommendations. You’ll be taught the basics of extraction, mouthfeel, and how water temperature affects flavor. You’ll learn how to build a drinks menu that respects the season, highlights origin beans, and pairs well with our pastries. You’ll help track supplies, restock fridges, and notify the team when anything runs low.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay calm and friendly during busy hours, managing multiple drink orders at once.
• Support opening or closing tasks like setting up the bar or counting the till.
• Help keep the café atmosphere welcoming, relaxing, and on-brand.
• Adapt quickly when orders are changed, mistakes happen, or supplies run low.
• Practice good time management to balance drink-making, cleaning, and customer interaction.

Preferred:

• Wants to grow into roles like Shift Lead, Head Barista, or Café Manager.
• Able to follow drink recipes accurately while offering speed and consistency during high-volume hours.
• Values friendliness, precision, and teamwork in a service-driven environment.
• Able to handle payments, operate POS systems, and manage tips or loyalty programs.
• Able to stay upbeat and courteous even during high-pressure or repetitive tasks.
