We’re hiring an Illustrator Trainee who’s excited to turn imagination into visuals and sketches into communication — no experience required, just raw creativity, consistency, and a desire to grow. You’ll assist in producing illustrations for social media, editorial layouts, digital products, and storytelling-based projects. We’ll teach you how to interpret creative briefs, extract visual themes, and generate concepts that connect emotionally. You’ll assist in creating characters, environments, and decorative elements that reflect tone, audience, and style direction. Expect to experiment with color palettes, line styles, shading techniques, and visual storytelling across multiple formats. You’ll gain experience with both digital and hand-drawn workflows depending on your tools and preferred medium. We’ll guide you in building balanced compositions, exploring color theory, and refining line work with clarity and consistency. You’ll learn how to adapt your style when needed — whether minimalist, playful, detailed, or expressive. You’ll learn to receive feedback constructively and iterate based on composition, contrast, clarity, and rhythm.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use tools like Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Clip Studio Paint to produce high-quality artwork.
• Incorporate feedback from clients or teams with a positive, solution-focused mindset.
• Participate in creative reviews, brainstorms, and storyboarding when illustrations are part of a larger campaign.
• Meet deadlines with grace—even when revisions are many and time is short.
• Work closely with writers, designers, and art directors to match visuals with messaging and brand tone.

Preferred:

• Organized with version control, layer structure, and naming conventions in illustration files.
• Values creativity, originality, and clarity in every piece of visual work.
• Open to revisions and client feedback while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Wants to grow into roles like Lead Illustrator, Art Director, or Visual Storyteller.
• Background or passion in illustration, visual arts, graphic design, or animation.
