Description:

We’re hiring a Courier Trainee who’s reliable, punctual, and ready to learn how to deliver items safely, quickly, and with a professional attitude. You’ll begin by assisting with loading the van each morning, organizing deliveries by route and urgency. You’ll assist with picking up packages, checking addresses, and verifying delivery details before heading out. You’ll be trained to handle sensitive cargo like business documents, electronics, medical supplies, or legal materials. You’ll practice organizing deliveries by floor, office, or client — keeping efficiency and punctuality as top priorities. You’ll gain experience navigating busy city centers while staying calm, focused, and presentable. You’ll be taught how to store and handle packages to avoid damage during long trips or changing weather conditions. You’ll support loading and unloading processes, learning how to organize items by route for efficiency. You’ll receive training on traffic rules, safety protocols, and what to do in the case of a vehicle issue or delay.

Basic Qualifications:

• Stay calm and solution-focused if problems arise during your route.
• Ensure all packages are delivered to the correct address and secured if no one is available.
• Inspect and maintain your vehicle or delivery equipment to ensure reliability throughout the day.
• Respect customers’ property and privacy while on-site for pickups or drop-offs.
• Take pride in completing your route with accuracy, care, and a sense of responsibility.

Preferred:

• Familiar with using delivery tracking apps or handheld scanners to update order statuses in real time.
• Available for flexible shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Enjoys being on the move, working outdoors, and managing tasks independently.
• Comfortable working independently and staying self-motivated on the road or during multiple stops.
• Values punctuality, responsibility, and efficiency when handling each delivery.
