From SEO-optimized articles to in-depth editorial pieces, you can shift tones, adapt styles, and still maintain a clear, engaging voice throughout. You’re the kind of writer who can make a dry topic feel fresh, a niche topic feel universal, and a complex topic feel simple. You know how to structure your writing with clarity: compelling intros, strong subheads, smooth transitions, and satisfying conclusions. You’re reliable, deadline-driven, and open to feedback without taking it personally. You’ll be responsible for turning in clean, SEO-friendly copy on deadline, with internal links, smart formatting, and a strong sense of flow.

Basic Qualifications:

• Adapt writing tone and style to match different brand voices, from casual and witty to formal and technical.
• Join occasional team calls or async discussions to align with editors, marketers, or SEO leads.
• Write headlines that are both SEO-friendly and clickable without resorting to clickbait.
• Research and write clear, engaging blog posts on assigned topics that resonate with the target audience.
• Optimize posts for readability and SEO—using proper headings, meta descriptions, internal links, and keywords.

Preferred:

• Follows blogs, newsletters, or content creators to stay current with trends.
• Familiar with SEO basics like keyword usage, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
• Can research unfamiliar topics and write confidently based on trusted sources.
• Knows how to write content tailored to specific audiences or niches.
• Understands the difference between informative, persuasive, and storytelling content.
