We’re hiring Paramedic Dispatcher Trainees — no experience required, just emotional strength, focus, and a desire to help when it matters most. We’ll start by teaching you the basics: how to answer calls, what questions to ask, and how to follow clear protocols. Your tools will be headsets, dual screens, digital logs, and voice protocols — and your judgment will be the most important one of all. You’ll manage information flow in high-pressure scenarios: accidents, heart failures, seizures, unknowns — and always keep your cool. You’ll be trained to stay focused when others are crying, screaming, or unable to explain what’s happening. You’ll be supported by a team who’s been there — people who understand the emotional toll and know how to protect each other from it. Basic Qualifications:

• Use dispatch software, radio systems, and maps to route ambulances efficiently.
• Support paramedics with info like access codes, hazards, or language barriers.
• Use empathy and clear language to talk with children, elderly callers, or those in shock.
• Determine the severity of the emergency and dispatch the appropriate medical team.
• Participate in regular training on emergency response procedures and systems.

Preferred:

• Works well as part of a response team and communicates clearly during handovers or transitions.
• Committed to continuous performance review and improving response efficiency.
• Capable of staying calm, focused, and empathetic under high-stress or life-threatening situations.
• Pays close attention to detail when recording caller data, response times, and location information.
• Able to follow strict protocols while using judgment when calls fall outside standard situations.
