Description:
We’re looking for a Newsletter Copywriter who can transform ideas into emails people *actually* want to open, read, and click. You’ll be responsible for crafting engaging, brand-aligned newsletters that not only get opened but actually get read. Your writing is clear, concise, and knows exactly when to be clever. You’ll work with our team to build content calendars, align emails with launches and campaigns, and make sure every message supports our larger brand narrative. You’re comfortable writing in different voices, adapting tone for different segments, and balancing creativity with strategic goals like clicks, conversions, or retention. You’re someone who understands how to build anticipation, create urgency without pressure, and write CTAs that convert without sounding like a sales pitch.
Basic Qualifications:
- Write with mobile readers in mind—short paragraphs, scannable structure, and clear calls to action.
- Create or refine reusable templates and content frameworks for recurring newsletters or campaigns.
- Coordinate with product, support, or leadership teams to include important updates without overwhelming the reader.
- Collaborate with marketing and content teams to align newsletter content with campaigns, launches, or seasonal moments.
- Be the voice readers recognize—and look forward to hearing from—in their inbox each week.
Preferred:
- Organized with deadlines and capable of managing multiple email drafts at once.
- Background or studies in communication, journalism, marketing, or creative writing.
- Comfortable A/B testing subject lines or content to see what performs best.
- Knows how to repurpose blog or social content into concise email formats.
- Can follow brand guidelines and adapt to specific brand voices across different industries.
