Description:

We’re hiring a Dishwasher to support our catering operations — perfect for someone who thrives behind the scenes, adapts quickly, and keeps things running clean in dynamic event environments. You’ll work at weddings, conferences, private parties, and outdoor events, ensuring all kitchenware and service items are cleaned and ready for use. You’ll help manage large volumes of items during buffet service, breakfast rush, or evening dining with precision and speed. You’ll work with commercial dishwashing machines and perform manual scrubbing for heavy pots and delicate kitchen tools. You’ll keep dish areas, sinks, floor mats, and drains clean and clutter-free at all times. You’ll restock clean items to multiple kitchen and service stations across the hotel, often walking between floors or banquet spaces. You’ll monitor detergent levels, water temperature, and machine performance to keep things running efficiently. You’ll monitor machine temps, refill soap and rinse aid, and shut down equipment safely before leaving. You’ll be trained to operate mobile dish machines, water heaters, and sanitizers specific to field service.

Basic Qualifications:

• Assist with unloading deliveries and putting away supplies when the dish area is slow.
• Stay flexible and ready to jump into side tasks like polishing silverware or rolling napkins.
• Restock soap, sanitizer, and paper towel dispensers in the dish area and bathrooms if required.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and temperature guidelines to ensure food safety compliance.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by keeping a steady supply of clean items during busy service.

Preferred:

• Familiar with operating commercial dishwashing machines, including loading, unloading, and proper rack usage.
• Familiar with drying, polishing, and restacking for buffet setups, events, or fine-dining service.
• Background or interest in food service, kitchen operations, or hospitality support.
• Enjoys contributing to the success of the team through behind-the-scenes work.
• Can manage chemical refills, dish machine upkeep, or drainage as instructed by supervisors.

You’ll be expected to stay on your feet, lift heavy racks or containers, and move quickly in a warm, humid environment. You’ll be expected to wear proper PPE and maintain a clean uniform throughout the shift. You’ll restock towels, gloves, sanitizer buckets, and other supplies used by the daytime crew. You’ll be expected to work steadily, maintain focus, and take initiative without constant supervision. You’ll work in a high-end environment where efficiency, discretion, and professionalism are part of daily routine. You’ll occasionally assist in early prep for the next day, such as thawing or restocking basic items. You’ll rotate shifts that may include early breakfast prep, weekend events, or evening banquets.
