Description:
We’re offering an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee position for someone who’s excited to help people find the right jobs — and help teams grow with the right people. No experience needed — just strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn how hiring really works. You’ll help support the recruitment process by posting jobs, organizing applications, and scheduling interviews. You’ll get hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems, calendar tools, and recruitment dashboards. Expect to sit in on interviews, observe different interview styles, and take notes to support hiring decisions. We’ll show you how to write clear, human-centered outreach emails and communicate with candidates professionally. We’ll guide you in writing outreach messages, follow-ups, and rejections with professionalism and empathy. You’ll also help prepare hiring reports and analyze recruiting metrics like source effectiveness and drop-off points. You’ll also support diversity and inclusion efforts, learning how to reduce bias and expand reach.
Basic Qualifications:
- Advocate for hiring decisions backed by both data and gut instinct.
- Conduct initial interviews and guide candidates through the pipeline with professionalism and empathy.
- Balance multiple open roles while staying organized and communicative.
- Keep an eye on market trends, salary benchmarks, and competitor activity.
- Be the friendly face (or voice) candidates remember—even if they didn’t get the job.
Preferred:
- Organized with hiring pipelines, interview notes, and offer documentation.
- Background or interest in human resources, organizational psychology, or talent acquisition.
- Able to write clear and engaging job descriptions aligned with company values and hiring goals.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Can manage multiple open roles at once, prioritizing by urgency and business needs.
Benefits:
- No micromanagement — just clear goals and space to work your magic.
- Work with hiring managers who *actually* care about the people they hire.
- Flexible hours because great hires don’t always happen 9 to 5.
- Tools you actually want to use — no clunky HR software from 2009.
- Training budget for courses, workshops, or even a new favorite HR podcast.
We’ll introduce you to tools like Greenhouse, Lever, or Workable, and show you how modern recruiting is driven by data. You’ll contribute to reporting, help analyze hiring metrics, and suggest ways to improve the process. You’ll write thoughtful messages — from interview invites to rejection emails — that reflect care and respect. You’ll develop confidence in your communication, instincts around fit, and awareness of what great hiring looks like. You’ll gain insight into how great hiring impacts teams, growth, and long-term culture. We’ll support your development through shadowing, coaching, and real candidate interaction. By the end of your traineeship, you’ll be able to support full-cycle recruiting processes from sourcing to closing. If you want to help build amazing teams and shape the future of work — we’re ready to invest in your growth.
