Description:

We’re hiring a Painter to join our finishing crew on new construction and renovation projects — perfect for someone who’s precise, deadline-driven, and understands the importance of a flawless final impression. You’ll work on apartments, houses, and commercial units during their final phase before handover to owners or tenants. You’ll work on ladders, scaffolding, or suspended platforms, always following safety procedures for height and fall protection. You’ll prepare high-end surfaces by sanding, skimming, priming, and taping with exceptional attention to cleanliness and straight lines. You’ll work on feature walls, ceilings, stairwells, columns, and built-ins using both traditional and modern techniques. You’ll apply coatings with brushes, trowels, sponges, and specialty tools to create layered depth and texture. You’ll follow blueprints, facade diagrams, or site markings to know which surfaces and trims require coating. You’ll be trusted to work in expensive and delicate environments where protection and care are paramount. You’ll rotate between prep work, base coats, touch-ups, and second-story detailing depending on the phase of the job.

Basic Qualifications:

• Take direction well and also work independently when assigned solo tasks.
• Adapt to different surface types—wood, concrete, drywall, brick—and adjust techniques accordingly.
• Apply specialty finishes such as faux textures, murals, or waterproof coatings when needed.
• Clean tools and work areas thoroughly after each job to maintain professional standards.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, or coatings to walls, ceilings, furniture, and exterior surfaces.

Preferred:

• Can provide excellent results on both rough and fine-finish painting tasks.
• Comfortable working independently or as part of a painting crew on larger job sites.
• Knowledge of different paint types (latex, oil-based, epoxy, etc.) and appropriate use for interior or exterior conditions.
• Background or interest in construction, property maintenance, or decorative finishes.
• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, or lifts while observing proper safety practices.

You’ll help install signage, patch scuffs, and handle small touch-ups before final inspection or walkthrough. You’ll assist with moving scaffolding, checking tie-offs, and spotting hazards for your crew. You’ll keep a clean workstation, use premium-grade tools, and maintain full control over your materials. You’ll be expected to complete daily check-ins, log completed surfaces, and report any structural concerns you observe. You’ll collaborate with contractors, foremen, or restoration specialists during large multi-trade renovation projects. You’ll work outdoors and indoors in loud, dirty, or extreme environments — including height or tight space work. Experience in decorative or traditional painting is a plus, but we’ll train creative, careful candidates with a passion for interior beauty.
