Description:

We’re hiring an IT Support Technician who’s passionate about solving technical problems and helping people work smarter. You’ll handle hardware setups, software installs, user accounts, and troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms. You’ll be the calm voice in chaos when someone’s system crashes five minutes before a meeting. When users run into trouble, you’ll walk them through fixes with clarity and patience. Whether it’s hardware hiccups or software quirks, you know how to keep cool and find solutions. People will look to you for answers — and you’ll deliver them in plain language, not tech jargon. Your documentation will help others understand recurring problems and how to fix them quickly. You’ll help onboard new team members by setting up accounts, devices, and access permissions. You’ll explain tech stuff in plain English, not confusing jargon that makes people glaze over.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide technical support to employees or clients by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues via chat, phone, or in-person.
• Participate in IT audits or compliance checks, helping collect and verify required technical data.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes by suggesting new tools, automations, or documentation updates.
• Support remote teams by troubleshooting via screen-sharing tools and coordinating with vendors if hardware replacements are needed.
• Assist with account provisioning, password resets, and access rights in systems like Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in IT, cybersecurity, help desk operations, or technical support.
• Knows how to identify recurring issues and report trends to help improve IT systems.
• Familiar with Windows, macOS, or Linux environments and common troubleshooting steps.
• Open to working in environments that support hybrid or remote users across time zones.
• Willing to support onboarding processes by setting up accounts, hardware, and permissions.
