Description:

We’re hiring an Architect Trainee who’s ready to learn how ideas become blueprints and blueprints become buildings — no experience needed, just a strong eye for design and willingness to grow. You’ll assist in creating floor plans, massing studies, and digital models that support early design exploration. We’ll teach you how to translate vision into visuals — from bubble diagrams to digital renders and physical models. You’ll help create renderings, diagrams, and design documents that communicate ideas to clients and contractors. Expect to participate in brainstorming sessions where form, function, and sustainability come together. You’ll be part of internal reviews where projects are shaped through discussion, iteration, and creative tension. We’ll teach you how to use architecture software like Revit, Enscape, and Illustrator to communicate your vision. You’ll help prepare presentation decks, client proposals, and design boards that tell the story behind each project. You’ll help research local codes, green building standards, and accessibility requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Visualize spaces from a user’s perspective—flow, light, acoustics, and accessibility all matter.
• Lead design review meetings, pitch bold ideas, and accept constructive feedback gracefully.
• Adapt your communication style for clients, builders, and city officials alike.
• Present concepts to stakeholders with clarity, whether it’s a sketch or a full 3D walkthrough.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscape consultants for seamless integration.

Preferred:

• Willing to lead or contribute to design reviews, client meetings, and project coordination sessions.
• Pays attention to materials, structural feasibility, and spatial planning in every project.
• Proficient in CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or ArchiCAD.
• Experience developing concept designs, construction drawings, and detailed architectural documentation.
• Familiar with building systems integration (MEP, structural) and interdisciplinary collaboration.
