Description:

We’re hiring an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s excited to learn how to find, connect with, and support great talent — no prior experience needed, just strong people skills and attention to detail. You’ll support the recruitment team in day-to-day tasks like posting jobs, screening applicants, and coordinating interviews. We’ll teach you how to evaluate resumes quickly, spot key qualifications, and identify hidden potential in candidates. You’ll assist in screening candidates, reviewing applications, and identifying who best matches each role. Expect to sit in on interviews, observe different interview styles, and take notes to support hiring decisions. We’ll show you how to build talent pools, keep notes organized, and track candidate stages with precision. We’ll guide you in writing outreach messages, follow-ups, and rejections with professionalism and empathy. You’ll help maintain databases, update candidate statuses, and keep hiring pipelines organized and moving. We’ll guide you through creating great candidate experiences, even when you’re sending a rejection.

Basic Qualifications:

• Use ATS tools to organize applications, track progress, and maintain data integrity.
• Help shape a hiring culture that values people over paperwork.
• Build talent pipelines for frequently hired or hard-to-fill roles in advance.
• Screen resumes, schedule interviews, and assess candidates based on skills, experience, and culture fit.
• Adapt to urgent hiring needs or shifting priorities without losing your cool.

Preferred:

• Familiar with employment laws, EEOC guidelines, and best practices in fair hiring.
• Able to coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and manage candidate expectations professionally.
• Understands how to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future needs.
• Thrives in structured, fast-moving environments where people are the priority.
• Familiar with measuring key recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire, offer-acceptance rate, and candidate satisfaction.
