Description:

We’re hiring a Paramedic Trainee to assist in rural and remote response units — ideal for someone who wants to learn how emergency care works far from city hospitals and support systems. You’ll assist with setting up first aid stations and prepping mobile response gear before gates open to the public. You’ll assist with preparing trauma kits, oxygen tanks, triage tags, and field equipment for rapid deployment. You’ll assist with treating a wide range of emergencies — from heart attacks and injuries to allergic reactions and animal-related trauma. You’ll support documentation for each patient encounter — from basic care to emergency transports. You’ll help guide guests to care areas discreetly and communicate with event staff when assistance is needed. You’ll assist in lifting and moving patients safely, following ergonomic techniques and team coordination. You’ll assist with coordinating responses to emergencies in loud, crowded, and sometimes chaotic spaces. You’ll observe how to maintain calm body language and reassuring tone even when spectators are tense or panicked.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Calmly handle incidents ranging from car accidents and heart attacks to overdoses and childbirth.
  • Work alongside police, firefighters, and other emergency services during complex incidents.
  • Treat every patient with respect, dignity, and compassion—regardless of circumstance or background.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, hospital staff, and fellow responders to coordinate care.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and follow legal, ethical, and medical guidelines at all times.

Preferred:

  • Understands medical protocols, triage methods, and scope of practice defined by local or national regulations.
  • Willing to work long shifts, overnight rotations, weekends, and holidays as required by emergency response schedules.
  • Proficient in performing CPR, administering medications, using defibrillators, and managing airways.
  • Organized in documenting patient vitals, treatments, and interventions using electronic or written patient care reports (PCRs).
  • Familiar with infection control practices, personal protective equipment (PPE), and scene safety assessments.

Benefits:

  • We cover your gear, your certifications, and your growth.
  • Paid CEUs and courses — we support your certification and license renewals.
  • We honor your service — with medals, milestones, and real appreciation.
  • Recognition for calm under pressure — not just heroic moments.
  • Weekly or bi-weekly pay, bonuses for night shifts and holidays.

You’ll support ambulance restocking, minor vehicle checks, and route planning when GPS coverage is unreliable. You’ll receive training in working independently and staying calm when you’re the only medical presence for miles. You’ll learn how paramedics assess whether a person can remain at the event or needs to be transported to a hospital. You’ll receive guidance on working in hot, cold, or unpredictable outdoor conditions during long shifts. You’ll receive structured mentorship, scenario training, and feedback from certified paramedics. No experience is needed — just situational awareness, kindness under pressure, and a strong team mindset. This internship is perfect for those pursuing emergency medicine, search-and-rescue, or humanitarian response work. If you’re ready to train where every second matters and lives depend on teamwork, we’re ready to teach you.
