Description:

We’re offering a Nanny Trainee position for someone who’s ready to support a busy household with multiple children of different ages. You’ll start by shadowing experienced caregivers, learning routines, safety practices, and how to handle different age groups. You’ll help with basic care such as feeding, diaper changes, dressing, and guiding children through their daily routines. You’ll help create a calm, stimulating space where children feel encouraged to ask questions and express themselves freely. You’ll assist with homework for older kids while keeping younger siblings safely entertained nearby. You’ll be trained on how to respond to tantrums, separation anxiety, and sibling disagreements with patience and structure. You’ll support age-appropriate activities like arts and crafts, storytelling, educational games, and outdoor time. You’ll help guide shared routines such as family meals, bedtime rituals, and getting ready for school or outings. You’ll be shown how to interact warmly and attentively without overstimulation — letting the child lead in their own way.

Basic Qualifications:

• Limit screen time appropriately and provide engaging offline alternatives.
• Use gentle discipline methods in line with the family's values and established rules.
• Encourage respectful behavior, emotional expression, and social skills through positive guidance.
• Create a calm bedtime routine when working evenings, including bath, stories, and quiet time.
• Follow daily routines such as nap times, feeding schedules, and hygiene tasks.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in early childhood education, family care, or child psychology.
• Thrives in home-based, child-centered settings where flexibility and warmth are essential.
• Pays attention to emotional well-being and uses positive discipline methods when necessary.
• Organized with managing the child’s clothing, toys, hygiene routines, and personal belongings.
• Patient, nurturing, and calm when handling temper tantrums, sibling conflicts, or emotional needs.
