Description:

We’re hiring a Kindergarten Teacher Trainee — and we strongly welcome men who want to bring calm, strength, and kindness into early childhood education. You don’t need prior teaching experience — just patience, responsibility, and a willingness to grow as a role model for young children. We’ll train you in how to turn games into lessons, stories into learning moments, and questions into conversation starters. You’ll assist lead educators in managing small groups, adapting activities, and creating calm, predictable classroom routines. Each day, you’ll help little ones develop social skills, build confidence, and explore the world with curiosity. Expect slow progress some days — and the deepest joy when a child makes eye contact, speaks a new word, or joins a group activity for the first time. We’ll show you how to gently guide behavior, create safe boundaries, and encourage independence at a child’s pace. You’ll observe how experienced teachers plan lessons, resolve conflicts gently, and nurture each child as an individual. Children will look to you not just for help, but for example — and you’ll grow into that responsibility over time.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be present, observant, and ready to meet kids at their level—emotionally and intellectually.
• Stay updated with early education best practices and child development research.
• Use songs, movement, and visuals to keep young minds engaged and active.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress, behavior, and milestones.
• Plan fun, age-appropriate activities that help kids develop early reading, math, and social skills.

Preferred:

• Capable of managing group activities and encouraging participation from quieter children.
• Able to support classroom routines such as snack time, clean-up, transitions, and outdoor play.
• Comfortable managing a classroom environment with patience, positivity, and consistency.
• Can prepare teaching materials, visual aids, and interactive games to enhance learning.
• Willing to attend trainings, workshops, or staff meetings to support professional growth.
