Description:

We’re hiring a talented Video Editor to join our remote team and bring engaging, creative videos to life across multiple platforms. You’ll be responsible for editing and assembling raw footage into polished videos that align with the brand’s goals and messaging. You’ll work closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project goals and translate them into compelling video content. You’ll be involved in all aspects of video production, including cutting, trimming, adding effects, sound design, and color correction. You’ll ensure that videos are engaging, well-paced, and visually appealing, adhering to brand guidelines and objectives. You’ll create content for social media channels, websites, email campaigns, and promotional videos that resonate with our target audience. You’ll help create motion graphics, animations, and special effects to add creativity and visual interest to the videos. You’ll manage the video editing process from start to finish, ensuring smooth transitions, color correction, and audio balancing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Color-correct, audio-balance, and export videos in platform-specific formats (e.g., vertical for Reels/TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube).
• Support marketing or sales teams with repurposed content from webinars, interviews, or long-form assets.
• Deliver on time, communicate clearly, and own your workflow independently in a remote setting.
• Optimize file size and quality for different platforms and delivery methods without sacrificing fidelity.
• Stay updated with video trends, platform algorithms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, IG Reels), and viral editing styles.

Preferred:

• Familiar with adding royalty-free music, sound effects, and voiceovers where needed.
• Excited to grow into roles like Senior Video Editor, Content Producer, or Creative Lead.
• Comfortable working with vertical and horizontal formats across multiple platforms.
• Background or interest in film, media, digital marketing, or content creation.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
