Description:

We’re hiring an Electrician to support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings — perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, responsive, and experienced in keeping public spaces powered and safe. You’ll read blueprints, technical diagrams, and wiring schematics to plan and execute safe, code-compliant installations. You’ll handle lighting systems, emergency backups, breaker panels, access controls, and HVAC electrical connections. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing faulty wiring, tripped breakers, and malfunctioning systems using meters and diagnostic tools. You’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment such as transformers, switchgear, pumps, compressors, and control panels. You’ll work with building management to ensure code compliance, plan upgrades, and maintain accurate maintenance logs. You’ll ensure proper grounding and bonding of all systems and verify continuity for safety and functionality. You’ll inspect fire alarms, exit signs, and emergency lighting systems to meet safety standards and pass inspections. You’ll perform panel upgrades, install subpanels, and configure circuits for HVAC, EV chargers, or home offices.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ensure all work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Install and configure smart home devices, generators, or backup power systems if required.
• Stay updated on new technologies, tools, and code changes through ongoing training.
• Prepare job estimates, material lists, or reports for supervisors or clients.
• Upgrade outdated panels, wiring, or systems to meet modern load demands.

Preferred:

• Licensed or certified electrician with knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Pays attention to neatness, durability, and code compliance in every wiring job.
• Wants to grow into roles like Master Electrician, Electrical Foreman, or Electrical Engineer.
• Enjoys solving complex technical problems and bringing power systems to life.
• Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

You’ll be trained to follow residential building codes, fire safety protocols, and GFCI/AFCI regulations. You’ll log materials used, hours worked, and service details in project documentation or maintenance reports. You’ll rotate between rough-ins, finish installs, inspections, and maintenance work depending on the project stage. You’ll help prevent future incidents by recommending upgrades, repairs, or scheduled maintenance to clients after emergencies are resolved.
