Description:

We’re looking for an organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Assistant to join our team and support daily operations of our online store. You’ll be responsible for managing product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and images are displayed. You’ll assist with processing orders, coordinating shipments, and handling any customer inquiries related to deliveries or product issues. You’ll track inventory levels, ensuring that products are available for customers and properly stocked across all platforms. You’ll support the marketing team in implementing online promotions, sales events, and product launch campaigns. You’ll provide support for customer service inquiries, ensuring timely responses to customer requests and concerns. You’ll help optimize product pages, ensuring they are SEO-friendly and have the best chance of driving conversions. You’ll manage and update product categories, keeping the online store organized and easy to navigate for customers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be flexible and ready to help with anything from uploading a new product to chasing a supplier for tracking info.
• Maintain internal documentation like product catalogs, SKU sheets, supplier contact lists, and SOPs for key tasks.
• Monitor reviews and customer feedback to identify trends, issues, or opportunities for product improvement.
• Keep digital assets organized—images, descriptions, spec sheets—so they’re easy to reuse and scale.
• Assist with adding, updating, and managing product listings across platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Amazon, or Etsy.

Preferred:

• Background or interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, business, or product merchandising.
• Enjoys working behind the scenes to keep online stores running smoothly.
• Familiar with basic digital marketing concepts such as discount codes, upsells, and product bundling.
• Values accuracy, presentation, and user experience in online shopping.
• Comfortable updating product availability, seasonal inventory, and promotional banners.
