Description:

We’re hiring women who want to become Auto Mechanics — not just as a statement, but because this trade needs more sharp, focused, and capable hands like yours. You’ll work on a wide range of vehicles — from diagnostics and routine maintenance to complex repairs and full overhauls. You don’t need shop experience — just the willingness to show up, follow instructions, and learn how machines actually work. You’ll begin with the fundamentals: how to lift safely, how to change oil correctly, how to inspect brakes, and how to write a proper service note. You’ll learn how to listen to a vehicle, identify symptoms, and think like a technician — not just follow steps, but understand the “why. ” You’ll learn how to lift safely, use tools properly, identify wear, and catch early warning signs — the stuff that makes a mechanic valuable, not replaceable. You’ll complete repairs efficiently without cutting corners — because quality always outranks speed in our shop. You’ll use scanners, manuals, and logic — because good diagnostics isn’t strength, it’s smart thinking and paying attention. You’ll keep your workspace clean, your tools organized, and your mind sharp on every job — big or small.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Respect customer property—using protective covers, floor mats, and returning vehicles in clean, working condition.
  • Follow repair orders, technical manuals, and manufacturer guidelines to ensure accurate and safe vehicle servicing.
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized in compliance with OSHA and shop safety protocols.
  • Use OBD-II scanners, multimeters, and manufacturer-specific software to troubleshoot check engine lights and system errors.
  • Prioritize workload and manage multiple repairs while meeting shop timelines and customer expectations.

Preferred:

  • Comfortable working on both gas and diesel engines; hybrid or EV experience is a bonus.
  • Wants to grow into roles like Lead Technician, Shop Foreman, or Service Manager.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and computerized vehicle components.
  • Able to communicate clearly with customers or service advisors about findings and estimates.
  • Thrives in hands-on, collaborative work environments with daily variety and challenge.

Benefits:

  • We’ll keep you running — with a job that provides steady work and solid benefits.
  • A chance to make a real difference in people’s lives — one car at a time.
  • A tool allowance and discounts on parts — because we want you to have the best gear.
  • Supportive management — your voice is heard, and your work is valued.
  • Variety in work — from routine repairs to high-performance builds, keep it interesting.

You’ll stay current with new systems, electronics, and drivetrains — because cars evolve and so should we. You’ll start to recognize patterns: noises, wear, common failures — and eventually, you’ll stop needing to ask every time. You’ll gain experience with different makes and models, and learn the unique quirks and common failures that books don’t teach you. You’ll be part of a shop that values learning, promotes from within, and knows how to turn “rookies” into real technicians over time. You’ll build muscle — yes — but more importantly, you’ll build technical instincts, a strong resume, and real pride in what your hands can do. You’ll finish this program with real hands-on experience, a team behind you, and a clear path forward — not just a paycheck. You’ll stop feeling like “just another number at work” — and start building a career that uses your hands, your mind, and your pride together. If you’re ready to build something real — for yourself, with your hands, and on your own terms — we’re ready to hand you the wrench and teach you right.
