Description:

We’re looking for a Sports Coach who believes in the power of positive reinforcement, structured training, and showing young athletes what they’re capable of — on and off the field. You’ll work closely with youth athletes, building confidence, motor skills, and a deep respect for teamwork and effort. You’ll assess strengths and weaknesses, design personalized training plans, and adapt sessions based on ongoing feedback. We expect you to teach fundamentals with clarity, correct mistakes with care, and motivate with respect. You’ll be responsible for fostering discipline, focus, and accountability in individuals and teams. You’ll create a positive, disciplined environment where effort is valued, mistakes are learning moments, and every player feels seen. You’ll guide pre-season conditioning, mid-season maintenance, and post-season recovery with a holistic mindset. We’ll rely on you to balance motivation with structure — pushing hard while always prioritizing safety and long-term health. You’ll be responsible for lineups, substitutions, game plans, and in-game decision-making.

Basic Qualifications:

• Provide honest, constructive feedback—whether it’s for a star player or a beginner.
• Ensure safety by teaching proper technique, monitoring fatigue, and addressing injuries quickly.
• Balance competitiveness with personal development—winning matters, but growth lasts longer.
• Analyze performance during practices and competitions to provide personalized feedback.
• Develop game strategies, plays, or techniques based on opponents and competition goals.

Preferred:

• Willing to coordinate with parents, athletic departments, or organizations regarding schedules and expectations.
• Willing to participate in continued education, clinics, or certification programs.
• Committed to inclusivity, fairness, and character development in addition to athletic skill.
• Capable of coaching both individuals and groups, depending on the training setting.
• Can develop game-day strategies and adapt plans based on player performance or opponent tactics.
