We’re looking for an HR Specialist (Recruiter) Trainee who’s ready to dive into the fast-paced world of hiring — no experience required, just energy, people skills, and a desire to build great teams. No experience needed — just strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and a willingness to learn how hiring really works. We’ll teach you how to navigate the full recruitment cycle — from sourcing to interview to offer. We’ll show you how to screen candidates fairly, ask smart questions, and understand what makes a great hire. Expect to participate in phone screenings, take notes during interviews, and observe how hiring decisions are made. We’ll show you how to write clear, human-centered outreach emails and communicate with candidates professionally. We’ll guide you in creating outreach strategies that go beyond job boards and reach the right talent. You’ll also help prepare hiring reports and analyze recruiting metrics like source effectiveness and drop-off points. You’ll learn how to balance speed and quality, meeting hiring goals without sacrificing candidate fit.
Basic Qualifications:
- Partner with HR teammates on employer branding, career fairs, or outreach campaigns.
- Support internal mobility by helping current employees explore new roles.
- Conduct initial interviews and guide candidates through the pipeline with professionalism and empathy.
- Write engaging job ads that attract great people—not just keyword-matching bots.
- Be the friendly face (or voice) candidates remember—even if they didn’t get the job.
Preferred:
- Thrives in structured, fast-moving environments where people are the priority.
- Able to promote inclusive hiring practices and reach diverse candidate pools.
- Willing to represent the company at job fairs, career events, or virtual recruitment webinars.
- Understands how to use Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, and job boards effectively.
- Comfortable screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and evaluating candidate fit.
