Description:

We’re looking for a Sales Assistant Intern who’s excited to gain real experience, build confidence in customer service, and explore what it’s like to be part of a dynamic retail team. You’ll be introduced to the basics of customer interaction, learning how to greet shoppers, offer assistance, and make every visitor feel welcome. You’ll practice those same skills yourself, gradually building comfort in starting conversations and helping customers with confidence. You’ll learn how to stock shelves, maintain store displays, and keep the retail space clean, organized, and inviting. You’ll also learn how to respond to common customer questions, product availability checks, and price inquiries with confidence. You’ll also observe how sales targets work and how individual performance contributes to team success. We’ll show you how to manage basic inventory, check stock levels, and support restocking as needed. You’ll shadow team members to learn how to deal with complaints or questions in a calm, professional way. You’ll learn how to multitask, from folding clothes or tagging items to helping at the counter when the line grows.

Basic Qualifications:

• Be adaptable—every customer, shift, and day is different.
• Support a smooth shopping experience by anticipating customer needs before they ask.
• Respond calmly to customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
• Restock shelves, manage inventory, and ensure all items are properly labeled and priced.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout throughout the day.

Preferred:

• Organized with handling receipts, gift wrapping, or preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery.
• Values customer satisfaction, teamwork, and efficiency in day-to-day tasks.
• Comfortable standing for long periods and helping lift or move merchandise when needed.
• Wants to grow into roles like Senior Sales Associate, Store Supervisor, or Visual Merchandiser.
• Team-oriented and willing to support coworkers with customer queues, fitting rooms, or stockroom tasks.
