We’re hiring a Canva Template Designer who thinks in grids, dreams in color palettes, and gets way too excited about good spacing. You live and breathe aesthetics — from modern minimalist to bold and quirky, you know how to bring a vibe to life. Whether it’s an Instagram carousel, a business proposal, a course workbook, or a digital planner, your work makes people say, “Wait… can I get this template? You get a rush from turning a messy concept into a clean, polished digital product — whether it’s for social media, eBooks, pitch decks, or online courses. You understand that great design isn’t about complexity, but about clarity and intentionality. You know how to set up reusable components, master brand kits, and structure multi-page documents that are consistent and polished. Collaboration comes naturally, but so does independent execution — give you a brief and you’ll deliver 10 options before lunch. You stay on top of design trends but don’t get lost in them; your work feels current without being cliché.

Basic Qualifications:

• Above all, create templates people *love* to use—practical, aesthetic, and a joy to customize.
• Organize templates into collections and deliver them with proper naming, layer structure, and guidance for end-users.
• Export and organize final assets in a clean, downloadable format (PDF, PNG, share link, etc.) depending on client needs.
• Create templates with a beginner-friendly mindset—clear structure, editable text boxes, grouped elements, and intuitive layouts.
• Ensure all templates are mobile-friendly and optimized for both free and Pro Canva users.

Preferred:

• Knows how to use Canva's brand kits, grids, and advanced features like animations.
• Keeps up with design trends and updates in Canva’s feature set.
• Can take vague ideas and turn them into polished, ready-to-use layouts.
• Understands typography and can pair fonts effectively for different tones.
• Proficient in Canva with experience designing templates for social media, presentations, or marketing assets.
