Description:

We’re hiring a Junior Frontend Developer Trainee — no commercial experience required, just solid basics in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and a strong desire to grow fast. You’ll work alongside our dev team on real projects, starting with bug fixes, UI polishing, and gradually moving into component building. We’ll teach you how to read design specs, extract assets, and build UI that respects spacing, typography, and brand consistency. You’ll get hands-on with design systems — learning how to build and maintain buttons, inputs, cards, and layouts that scale. You’ll learn how to build grid systems, use flexbox effectively, and avoid layout hacks that break in production. We’ll show you how to read Figma files, translate mockups into working interfaces, and implement pixel-perfect UIs. You’ll learn how to manage responsiveness across breakpoints, support dark mode, and ensure layouts hold up under real content. You’ll gain experience working in structured codebases, committing with clarity, and following branching and review workflows. You’ll collaborate with designers and backend devs to build UI that not only looks good, but works well under real-world conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with designers and backend devs to bring features to life smoothly.
• Take ownership of small parts of the codebase and make them yours.
• Communicate clearly about what’s done, what’s blocked, and what needs clarification.
• Stay curious: read docs, follow dev blogs, or build side projects that keep you sharp.
• Commit code regularly, open pull requests, and respond to review comments with curiosity—not ego.

Preferred:

• Willing to write documentation and comment code clearly for maintainability.
• Able to debug using browser developer tools and fix layout or console errors effectively.
• Able to build clean, accessible, and semantic markup with attention to browser compatibility.
• Comfortable working with backend developers to integrate frontend with APIs and auth flows.
• Thrives in collaborative, feedback-rich environments with modern development workflows.
