We’re hiring an Illustrator Trainee who’s passionate about turning abstract ideas into clear, expressive visuals — no prior experience needed, just creativity, patience, and a love for drawing. You’ll assist in producing illustrations for social media, editorial layouts, digital products, and storytelling-based projects. We’ll teach you how to follow briefs, meet visual guidelines, and communicate ideas clearly through drawing. You’ll assist in creating characters, environments, and decorative elements that reflect tone, audience, and style direction. Expect to explore different styles, from flat design to textured, expressive illustrations, depending on the project’s tone. You’ll practice ideation through sketching, refining lines, and using feedback to improve clarity and composition. We’ll guide you in building balanced compositions, exploring color theory, and refining line work with clarity and consistency. You’ll gain experience using tools like Illustrator, Procreate, or Figma to organize and deliver professional artwork. You’ll participate in team critiques, client presentations, and collaborative visual exploration.

Basic Qualifications:

• Support social media, editorial, or motion teams with quick turnaround assets when needed.
• Revise sketches and final artwork based on feedback, while maintaining creative integrity.
• Stay inspired and research visual trends, techniques, and artists across cultures and time periods.
• Meet deadlines with grace—even when revisions are many and time is short.
• Refine rough concepts into polished, detailed compositions that serve a clear purpose.

Preferred:

• Open to revisions and client feedback while maintaining artistic integrity.
• Pays attention to visual consistency, proportions, and emotional expression in illustration work.
• Willing to create mood boards, style frames, or sketches as part of the ideation process.
• Can work with art directors, designers, and marketing teams to align visuals with campaign goals.
• Experience creating illustrations for books, branding, social media, games, or editorial use.
