Description:

We’re seeking a proactive and organized Etsy Shop Manager who can balance creativity with operational precision. You’ll oversee day-to-day shop operations, including listings, orders, customer messages, and analytics. You know how to write listings that not only describe the product but sell the story behind it. You’ll write, update, and manage product listings to ensure everything is accurate, appealing, and up-to-date. You’ll coordinate product launches, manage inventory, and monitor orders from start to finish. If a customer has a question or complaint, you’re quick to respond with kindness and clarity. You’ll track sales performance, notice trends, and make recommendations on what’s working (and what’s not). You’re not just keeping the shop open — you’re making it thrive, one thoughtful decision at a time. This role requires someone who can take initiative, notice small issues before they become big problems, and communicate clearly.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with freelancers or virtual assistants if the shop scales and workload increases.
• Coordinate production or delivery (if physical goods), or manage digital downloads to ensure smooth, accurate delivery.
• Research competitors and successful shops to stay ahead of trends and identify opportunities to improve visibility and conversions.
• Celebrate wins—new products, customer milestones, five-star reviews—and share them to build credibility and community.
• Track shop performance using Etsy analytics—adjust pricing, keywords, and strategies based on data, trends, and customer behavior.

Preferred:

• Comfortable using tools like Canva, Lightroom, or Photoshop for product imagery.
• Capable of updating shop banners, profile info, and seasonal messaging.
• Organized and dependable with task tracking, inventory checks, and schedule planning.
• Familiar with policies around returns, disputes, and Etsy seller standards.
• Enjoys working independently and making data-driven decisions to grow the shop.
