We’re looking for an Instagram Reels Editor who’s passionate about creating viral content and knows exactly what works on the platform. You’ll be in charge of crafting Reels that not only stand out but keep people coming back for more. If you're always ahead of the curve with the latest trends, sounds, and editing techniques, then you’re exactly who we need. If you’re someone who keeps up with the latest trends, soundbites, and visual effects, you’ll be right at home here. You should have a deep understanding of what works on Instagram and know how to capitalize on trending audio, effects, and challenges. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll be expected to produce high-quality, engaging content quickly while staying on top of the latest trends.

Basic Qualifications:

• Work with UGC and influencer-supplied footage, improving quality without losing authenticity.
• Repurpose content from longer videos (YouTube, TikTok) into digestible Reels without losing meaning.
• Cut down raw footage into engaging 15–60 second clips that hook viewers fast.
• Adapt videos for multi-platform use (e.g. TikTok, YouTube Shorts) while adjusting format as needed.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and animators when additional visuals or overlays are needed.

Preferred:

• Strong eye for visual aesthetics, color grading, and composition.
• Open to learning from other editors and collaborating on creative projects.
• Enjoys fast-paced creative challenges and adapting to new trends quickly.
• Has a strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and storytelling within 30-60 seconds.
• Basic understanding of copyright and using royalty-free or licensed music.
