Description:

We’re looking for a talented Discord Server Designer to build and maintain an organized, engaging, and functional server for our community. You’ll be responsible for designing and organizing Discord servers that are visually appealing and easy to navigate. You’ll design channels, roles, and permissions to make sure members have a seamless experience, whether they’re chatting or participating in events. You’ll create a design that not only looks good but promotes interaction, keeping members engaged and involved. You’ll be familiar with Discord’s features, from voice channels to bots, using them creatively to improve the user experience. You’ll collaborate with the community management team to keep the space safe, friendly, and inclusive for all members. You’ll incorporate bots and automations to streamline tasks, enhance interaction, and improve member management. You’ll create clear guidelines for server usage, maintaining a balance between structure and freedom. You’ll collaborate with moderators to develop guidelines and keep the space respectful and engaging.

Basic Qualifications:

• Collaborate with community managers, moderators, or content creators to ensure the server serves its purpose—whether it’s social, support, education, or sales.
• Implement roles, permissions, and access logic that balance security, functionality, and ease of use.
• Craft server aesthetics—from emojis and banners to role colors and channel icons—that match the brand or community vibe.
• Document the server architecture, role hierarchies, and bot setups for easy maintenance or future handoffs.
• Support multilingual or multi-region setups by designing separate zones or language-specific roles if needed.

Preferred:

• Experience creating or managing Discord servers with organized channel structures.
• Can balance fun and function by integrating game nights, feedback systems, or stage channels.
• Enjoys creating digital spaces that are engaging, inclusive, and easy to navigate.
• Understands community-building through structured channels, events, and announcements.
• Familiar with server templates, backups, and exporting/importing configurations.
