Description:
We’re hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician who knows that accuracy isn’t optional — it’s everything. You’ll handle patient specimens with care, consistency, and full awareness of the responsibility in your hands. You’ll operate lab equipment with confidence, from centrifuges to analyzers — and keep it all clean, calibrated, and ready. You’ll assist in handling real patient samples — blood, urine, swabs — and learn the importance of accuracy at every stage. You’ll observe how professionals maintain strict compliance with internal SOPs, governmental standards, and accreditation requirements (e. You’ll be surrounded by professionals who value your effort and will help you grow into someone they can trust at any bench in the room. We’ll walk you through the use of analyzers, microscopes, centrifuges, and other essential tools — step by step, no pressure. You’ll stay calm under pressure — whether it’s an urgent STAT order or a full rack of samples waiting on your bench. Your job may not involve direct patient contact — but your work will directly affect diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes. You’ll begin to understand how lab values connect to patient symptoms, how flags are reviewed, and when results need a second check.
Basic Qualifications:
- Verify patient information, test orders, and sample integrity before processing to avoid errors or contamination.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment including microscopes, centrifuges, analyzers, and spectrophotometers to ensure accurate test results.
- Help track and manage inventory of lab supplies and reagents—restocking or alerting supervisors when levels run low.
- Collect, prepare, and analyze biological specimens such as blood, urine, tissue, or swabs following strict laboratory protocols.
- Follow proper biosafety and infection control procedures when handling specimens to ensure a safe laboratory environment.
Preferred:
- Comfortable communicating with medical staff regarding specimen status or unusual findings.
- Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules in a 24/7 lab environment.
- Can support inventory management and supply ordering to keep the lab fully stocked.
- Works well independently or under the supervision of a pathologist or senior technologist.
- Enjoys supporting diagnosis and patient care through accurate and timely lab work.
Benefits:
- Team rituals include safety huddles, “weirdest specimen of the week,” and lab wins boards that don’t forget the quiet work.
- You’re part of a respected, tight-knit team where everyone knows their role — and yours is foundational.
- Every correct result, flagged anomaly, or clean run you contribute helps save lives quietly but powerfully.
- We maintain strict safety protocols, consistent scheduling, and real-time communication — your time and health matter.
- You’ll handle real biological samples — blood, tissue, fluids — and deliver data physicians rely on.
You’ll juggle repetition and responsibility without losing patience or letting things slide. You’ll play a vital role in diagnosis — even if most patients never meet you. You won’t be rushed — we’re more interested in helping you build long-term skills than checking boxes. You’ll grow into someone who others can count on — the one who quietly makes sure nothing is missed, spilled, mislabeled, or left incomplete. You won’t just run tests — you’ll ensure the integrity of every result that leaves your workstation. You’ll leave each shift knowing you contributed to something bigger, even if you never saw the patient face-to-face. If you care deeply about doing things right — even when no one’s watching — you’ll fit right in with us. You’ll begin as an observer, but you’re expected to grow into a contributor — someone trusted to perform basic procedures to protocol. If you’re ready to build serious technical habits, work under strict standards, and grow in a professional medical lab setting — we’re ready to train you properly.
