Description:

We’re looking for a Video Editing Intern who wants to learn how long-form content like YouTube shows, interviews, and podcasts come together behind the scenes. ” You don’t need a full portfolio — just a good eye, a basic reel, and a serious drive to improve every week. You’ll work with our creative team to support real projects: short-form content, ads, reels, interviews, and brand edits. You’ll cut, trim, subtitle, reformat, resize, and occasionally breathe life into “meh” footage with sharp timing and music instinct. You understand pacing, rhythm, and energy — and you know how to shape it around the viewer’s attention span. You’ll help format talking-head clips, remix trending audios, and test which hooks actually work on real viewers. You’ll learn to color correct, mix audio, apply transitions (without overdoing it), and export for different platforms. You’ll take feedback constructively, iterate fast, and balance speed with quality when the deadline’s tight. You’ll be expected to revise quickly, handle feedback professionally, and ask questions when things feel unclear — we value clarity over guessing. Would I share this?

Basic Qualifications:

• Work with subtitles, captions, or translations to make videos accessible and globally adaptable.
• Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, websites, or promotional use—using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Assist in creating content calendars, shot lists, or storyboards when needed to plan video production in advance.
• Adapt to different creative styles—from fast-paced social clips to cinematic reels or corporate explainers.
• Collaborate with content creators, marketers, or creative directors to understand the vision and deliver according to brand style.

Preferred:

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Values clarity, creativity, and consistency in every stage of the editing process.
• Familiar with exporting and compressing videos for web, social media, or broadcast use.
• Can work with b-roll, interview cuts, stock footage, or client-provided assets.
• Comfortable working with footage, graphics, music, and voiceovers to complete polished videos.

You’ll start with micro edits — then grow into owning whole series, formats, or influencer content blocks. You’ll walk away with real portfolio pieces, real lessons, and a whole new sense of how much you can do under time constraints.
