Description:

We’re looking for a Cook who can handle the heat — someone who moves fast, stays sharp, and turns ingredients into comfort, flavor, and consistency every shift. You’ll prep, cook, and plate breakfast, lunch, or brunch items depending on the shift, always keeping quality and consistency in mind. You’ll work alongside a kitchen team, communicating clearly and keeping the pace steady during slow hours and busy rushes alike. You’ll shadow experienced cooks, ask questions, and slowly start taking on more tasks as your confidence grows. You’ll clean as you go, keep your station neat, and help with dishes or floor cleaning when needed. You’ll rotate ingredients, manage inventory basics, and restock fridges or dry storage without needing reminders. You’ll keep cool under pressure and stay focused even when tickets pile up — because the plate always comes first. You’ll help with morning prep or evening close-down depending on your shift, and take responsibility for your tools and space. You’ll adapt to different roles on the line — from grill to sauté to salad — and support your team where needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Respect portion sizes and plating guidelines to control cost and deliver consistency.
• Ensure food is cooked safely, thoroughly, and consistently in both taste and appearance.
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment before each shift.
• Work quickly without sacrificing safety, especially when handling knives, fryers, or hot pans.
• Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when ingredients or supplies are running low.

Preferred:

• Pays strong attention to timing, food safety, and cleanliness during all stages of food preparation.
• Capable of handling knives and kitchen tools safely and skillfully.
• Familiar with prepping for different menus including breakfast, lunch, dinner, or special events.
• Able to clean and maintain kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment after service.
• Organized with labeling, storing, and restocking ingredients to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
